The Mercury News in San Jose revealed that the suspect terminated on police during the pursuit and after he blockaded himself inside a home in the South San Jose area, southeast of San Francisco.
The suspect kicked the bucket at a nearby emergency clinic following the Wednesday early daytime shooting, specialists said.
No cops were harmed.
